Roadmap

What we're exploring for PubCrawl beyond the 1.0.0 release. This roadmap reflects our current direction and priorities — everything here is planned or under consideration, not a delivery commitment. Items are indicative, and order does not imply release order.

Roadmap items that ship will arrive as free lifetime updates for existing license holders, unless noted otherwise.

Under Consideration — Features

Enhancements to capabilities that already exist in the platform:

  • More feature add-ons — continuing to expand the current 40 feature add-ons (affiliate/influencer, two-factor auth, audit logs, maps, AI-assisted translation, webhooks, and more) with additional marketplace tools.
  • Deeper reporting & analytics — richer host and admin dashboards building on the existing PDF report generation and the analytics channels.
  • Expanded AI assistance — extending the AI-assisted translation add-ons (OpenAI / Anthropic / OpenRouter) into more content and host-support workflows.
  • Booking & scheduling polish — more session-management, seat, and cancellation-policy options on top of the existing booking engine.
  • Accessibility & internationalization — broader screen-reader support and expanded coverage beyond the current English/Hindi/Tamil/Arabic set, including more RTL refinement.

Under Consideration — Integrations

Growth of the integration catalog (currently 53 channel add-ons):

  • More payment gateways — additional providers alongside the existing free drivers (COD, Bank Transfer, PayPal) and the 20 premium gateways already included, wired through the same channel/driver registry.
  • More email, SMS, and messaging providers — expanding the existing email, SMS, WhatsApp, chat, and live-chat channels for booking notifications.
  • More storage providers — beyond the current R2/S3-compatible storage options.
  • More analytics and CAPTCHA options — extending the existing analytics and reCAPTCHA channels.

Future Plans (Exploratory)

Longer-term directions we're exploring. These are early and may shift significantly:

  • In-admin add-on discovery — a smoother way to browse and activate the built-in add-ons from inside the admin panel.
  • Self-serve theming — a more visual theme editor on top of the existing CSS-variable / Tailwind token system.
  • Expanded deployment templates — first-class guidance beyond the current Vercel + Neon + R2 recommendation.
  • Developer tooling — improved guidance and helpers for building custom add-ons on the core/product layer split.
